Open to Business
New Program to Help Existing and Prospective Business Owners
Looking for a trusted adviser for your business? Maybe you've wanted to secure financing to start or expand your business? If so, a new program offered by Anoka County may be just what you’re looking for.
Thanks to a partnership between the County and the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD), business owners or those looking to start a new business can access a new program called Open to Business.
Free Technical Assistance
MCCD is a 501c3 nonprofit and, through the Open to Business program, our experienced consultants offer small business owners no cost technical assistance and help them access financing options they need to succeed. We do this by partnering with a variety of financial institutions.
- MCCD’s “Open to Business” Program: No charge technical business assistance. We often partner with banks to help get their clients bank ready, assist with business planning, projections, startup costs, sources and uses, and assist with gap financing
- Anoka County Revolving Loan Fund: Low interest financing for growth stage businesses and job creation
- MCCD Loan Products: Startup and Growth Stage Businesses
Small Business Loan Program
Open to Business advisers can also assist entrepreneurs in identifying borrowing needs and accessing financing options. Advisers work with clients to help them find the financing that best meets their own unique needs. MCCD also provides direct financing and loans in partnership with banks and nonprofit lenders. Funds can be used for inventory, working capital, asset and equipment purchases, real estate acquisition, and start-up costs.
